Keri and Nick’s entire wedding was gorgeous. But one of the best parts about their wedding was the amount of time they gave us. They collaborated with us to make an incredible set of wedding portraits and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the trust they placed with us. Keri’s family home is near the Vanderbilt Museum. While much of the building areas are closed for renovation, the grounds were open and gave us some stunning options for their photographs.
This vista, for example…
Keri’s Modern Trousseau wedding gown was the perfect mix of modern and Gatsby Era styling to fit her needs to move and the surroundings with art deco touches.
The sun glow we picked up at the tail of their portrait session was intense and amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!
The planetarium with rolling hills –
We had so many more portraits! But we do want to share some images from other parts of their day as well before we got to their Vanderbilt Museum wedding photos. We started off at the home of Keri’s parents, a beautiful old house near the museum.
The details at this wedding were impeccable. This is a huge shout out to Keri’s mother for her keen eye. She’s a photographer as well!
Nick went with a very classic look.
The entire wedding was filled details hailing back to the 20’s and very Gatsby inspired. But their reception? It was a massive party. We’re just choosing a few images to share here from their densely red reception by your favorite NYC wedding photographer.
