I don’t often post personal things on our blog. Perhaps it’s because I’ve seen about a 100 too many blogs that only feature the photographer’s kids or perhaps I just like to keep a bit of separation from time to time. Besides, anyone can watch our personal lives through Instagram and that takes way less effort than writing a blog post! But we recently took a day trip out to the coast on a dreary Sunday and (for once!) we brought the “big cameras” along with us. This kind of photography is often called lifestyle photography, as it’s not particularly portrait based.
With all that said, Finn is one of the most difficult subjects I’ve ever photographed.
He thinks it’s hilarious to run away from me at every point, especially when the most wonderful curiosity beckons. You know, the ocean. With lots of powerful waves.
Every so often he let Joe catch up with him, and we had a reprieve from the constant chasing when Finn found his reflection in the puddles along the shore.
