When Matt and Jenn first met with us, they said they were infusing a lot of personal touches into a music lovers wedding. They delivered on that promise! We chose the image below as their anniversary post because it perfectly shows how unique they made their wedding.
Instead of a traditional guestbook with boring lines and a cream silk cover, they framed one of their engagement images alongside a record. That record included the song they danced to at the opening of their wedding reception. Jenn and Matt asked their wedding guests to sign the frame. And the engagement image they chose? It was one of the only requests they had at their New York City engagement session. Matt found a street near midtown where we planned to photograph that sort of looked like a street on an old Boy Dylan album cover, so he and Jenn could walk hand in hand along the street for a few images.
Other fun touches from their wedding day include the escort cards and reception centerpieces. They gathered old Rolling Stone magazine covers of some favorite artists and used those as the table names!
Matt and Jenn created a wedding day all about them and their love for music. They found some really great ways to share that love with their friends and family, and at the same time set apart their wedding from the many other weddings they attend each year. And then they had a great time dancing the night away with family that came from near and far with a party that rocked the house!
