Liz and Lee’s wedding coverage started with Liz trying to escape a huge ball of nerves, checking the radar on her phone constantly, hoping beyond hope the impending storm would magically skip right over Jersey City and Liberty State Park, our two shooting locations. Would the ceremony stay outside in the Liberty House’s outdoor garden overlooking downtown Manhattan? Would the entire event need to move indoors? Would she get any photos outside at all? In the end, it seemed silly to worry about it all, after one sees the beautiful, sun-strewn ceremony with a blue sky and wispy clouds. We got a whole bunch of laughs about it along the way.

I really love these next two photos. If they were of Joe and I and I had to choose only one, I really do not know which I would choose. I also think it wonderfully shows why hiring two photographers is so important for many weddings. These two images were shot seconds apart, and there is no way one person could capture each image alone.
